Splash Waterworld Update from Butlin’s:
Due to essential maintenance, certain sections of our Splash Waterworld remain temporarily closed. However, please rest assured that our slides and flumes will remain open for your enjoyment. Please book your session at caravan reception.
Additionally, the Circus show will be exclusively available until the 14th April, and the Ice Rink (to 18th April) and Roller Rink (from 22nd April) are free-flow – no booking required. Caravan guests must display their wristbands when attending the Circus – no need to book – simply join the BOOKED queue. The ice/roller rink operates on a free-flow basis!
All other venues and shows you will join the Non-Booked queue as usual.
Here’s what’s open in the pool:
- Vortex (suitable for ages 8 and above, must be over 1.2m tall)
- Jetstream fast flume (suitable for ages 10 and above, must be over 1.2m tall)
- Family Riptide Raft Ride (suitable for ages 3 and above, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, must be over 1m tall)
- Outdoor River Rapids (suitable for ages 5 and above, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, must be over 1.2m tall)
- Rockpool Cove Paddling Pool (children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult)
Additionally, due to limited space, the viewing gallery will be closed during Splash Pool sessions.

We have a choice of six lovely static caravans/lodges, all are within a 5 minute walk of the Butlin’s complex, and all offer comfortable self-catering luxury accommodation in the peaceful surroundings of the caravan village. Families will love the Butlins caravan park as well as all the entertainment and facilities that Butlin’s has to offer. Whilst Skegness has removed all “Just for Tots” breaks for the 2023 season there are still lots of entertainment and activities for the under 5’s at all family breaks, and the Butlin’s themed weekend breaks give adults the opportunity to relive their youth. At all other times, everything in Butlin’s as well as the surrounding Skegness area is aimed at families, and the fun will not stop until you leave.

We are a small family business with the emphasis on “family”. After many years visiting the Butlin’s resort, we purchased our own caravan. We know that you want a spacious, modern, clean caravan with all the comforts of home. We know you want a subtle mix of quiet relaxation and non-stop Butlin’s entertainment. We also know that you want someone close by if you have any questions or concerns.
For 2024 season, we have added a small dog friendly caravan to our portfolio. Retreat 13 is equipped and cleaned to our high standard with all the home comforts that you expect from us.
We want you to have the happy holidays that we have enjoyed, and most of all, we want to be your holiday happy place!

Family Caravan Holidays at Butlins Skegness
The caravan village at Butlin’s Skegness is the perfect base whatever your holiday demands. Ideally located to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the main Butlin’s resort, yet close enough to explore both Butlin’s and the surrounding areas. Ingoldmells, famous for its huge 7-day market, and fairground is just a 15 minute walk. Skegness with it’s shopping, culture, pier and entertainment is only a short bus trip or drive away.
Wristbands are required for access to Butlin’s, and all the entertainment and the award winning swimming pool are included in the price. Some premium activities attract an extra charge.
Caravan rental is easy, and our guests find that caravans are a more pleasant alternative to the apartments and rooms in the resort. The surroundings are quieter and greener with better private outdoor space, yet we are closer to the action than much of the Butlins accommodation.
